Adding a counter

 

Adding a counter to your space is quite simple and there are a couple of way’s. First you need a counter, you can get them free on the web. I use Amazing Counter’s. Click on my link in my list box "web thing’s" to Amazing Counter’s, Go to the web site and click on "create new counter" they will need your space address and your e mail plus some other information. name ect. Then they will give you a code. You simply copy the code into a blog entry or a html modual. Make a blog hit the html button and paste (enter) the counter code back into the blog, then hit the html button again and your counter will show. you can now edit it. title the blog and publish it. You now have a counter on your space.The counter will not count the page  view’s if it goes off your front page and goes into your archive’s. You can keep the counter on your front page just re-edit the counter blog Click here for some instruction’s. You can also add a html modual to your space and put the code into a html modual. You can then position it where you want on your space and it remain’s on the front of your space.
